Toys?

I have been trying to think of what kind of toys Jenna would like, and I'm kind of out. She just has her little stuffed animals and things to chew on now, but there's got to be some sort of bigger toy to keep her occupied. Anyone have any suggestions?

We have a hand-me-down music table thing that I thought she would really enjoy, but unfortunately it doesn't work. It looks like it would be fun for her--she could stand at it and press the buttons to make different sounds. Maybe we'll get her something like that. I just don't want to get something that she has no interest in, so I'd rather get suggestions from people who have kids who actually like & use them.

The only thing I can think of now is a swing that we can hang from a tree. I think she'd love that--her favorite thing now is "horsey" so she likes to be active!

hmm can't think of many things offhand because our Randie is a book freak.. she will choose a book over any toys. She does have alot of the fisher price little people? they have all different kinds and she likes them..Not sure of the age on them though? Randie has some toys that are past her age but we watch her when she plays with them anyway.. lol If i think of anything else I will let you know :)

I made my parents buy E the new fisher price lights and sound choo choo train thingy that has the CUTEST animals on it...its an interactive toy, so jenna can push a button and make the train move, etc...good "cause and effect" toy for 6months & up. Its the cutest thing evah! Plus, you can add on additional train cars/animals...so other people can help build up the train! Check it out!

We also have the Lights and sounds train. Weston is 6months and loves it. I am also thinking about getting the Roll Around, Drop and Roar Dinosaur thing. It's a big toy that she can stand by and drop plastic balls down the shoots. It makes noise and is flashy and the balls are real cute.

There are some classics that you should look into. Think back to when you were little...things like the stacking rings, the bucket with the shapes inside that fit through the same shape hole in the bucket, the big plastic beads that fit together. All of these are good for developing minds. Also, that Pooh that rides on the back of the turtle is super cute!

Princess has one of those little table things and it is her favorite toy! She loves to stand and play at it. Also, she really likes anything she can push and hold onto while she walks.

We got Ava the bucket with the shapes that you put them in the correct spot. A toy phone that makes sounds, the classic toy phone you pull around. And a toy that pops the balls up when you push a button. The funny thing is she'll enjoy the boxes and wrapping paper more than any of the presents you get her :)

Oh my gosh, Amelia is soooo into standing up, and she is totally obsessed with that Fisher Price pull-up toy! I got it at a yard sale but I'm sure you could find it somewhere. She can pull up on it, drop the balls into it, push buttons/lights, etc.
